What is Everbound Academy?
Everbound Academy is an online reading community built like a magical college. Instead of grades or strict timelines, students explore fantasy and romantasy through trope based courses and curated reading lists. Each syllabus is designed to guide readers deeper into the genre while still leaving room for personal choice and seasonal rhythms.
The academy exists for readers who enjoy structure without stress. You read when it works for you, participate as much or as little as you want, and complete your courses on your own timeline.
Your Path Through the Academy
Enrollment at Everbound Academy happens in a few simple steps.
First, you’ll share your email so we can send your welcome letter and guide you through the next step.
From there, you’ll be invited to join our private campus community, where you’ll activate your monthly subscription and access both majors, syllabuses, and all academy resources.
Then, read at your own pace while engaging with the community if you wish.
Finally, self report completed courses and receive your completion certificate.
You can take one semester or several to complete your syllabus. There is no required pace and no penalty for taking breaks. We believe in clarity and choice. Community participation is encouraged, never required. Many members read quietly, follow the syllabus at their own pace, and use the community as a reference library.
Fantasy Major
The Fantasy major focuses on epic worlds, rich magic systems, and classic fantasy tropes. Courses explore adventure driven stories, immersive settings, and timeless genre foundations.

Romantasy Major
The Romantasy major centers fantasy stories where romance plays a central role. Courses highlight emotional arcs, character driven narratives, and beloved romantasy tropes.
Each major includes multiple trope based courses and an elective that allows you to choose a book that fits a themed prompt.
The Syllabus and Reading Experience
Every course at Everbound Academy is built around a specific trope. Each course includes five recommended books curated for tone, theme, and genre appeal. To complete a course, students read any three of the five selections.
Each major also includes an elective course with flexible reading prompts, allowing students to explore books outside the core list while still meeting course goals.
Semesters follow three month seasonal groupings to help readers align their reading habits with the time of year. Students are welcome to take longer than one semester to finish.
Life on Campus
Everbound Academy includes a private online community where students can discuss books, share reactions, and participate in low pressure reading prompts and friendly challenges. This space is designed to feel cozy, welcoming, and inclusive.
Community participation is always optional. Some students love discussing every chapter, while others prefer to read quietly and check in occasionally. Both approaches are equally valued.
